Albany -- A manager of an East Albany apartment complex was attacked early Friday morning.

Police say around 7:00AM, 45-year old Kelly Ann Spooner, manager of Shadow Wood apartments, was taking out trash when she was accosted by a man with a gun.

Police say 39-year-old Darrell Tyrone Jackson demanded money, forced Spooner inside an office, then left when she said she didn't have any cash.

He was later arrested at Hidden Oaks apartments. He's charged with aggravated assault and burglary.
