Atkinson County - A Pearson man was killed Saturday night when he walked into traffic after leaving a party.

Police say 44 year old Martin Hernandez was crossing the road near Main Street and Lott Avenue in Atkinson County when he walked into a Cadillac driven by 74 year old Jean Peterson.

Hernandez fell into the road upon impact and was then run over by a Ford Mustang driven by 25 year old Marissa Gamas.

Police say Hernandez had been drinking and was not in a cross walk or obeying traffic signals.
