Grady Co. murder suspect skips country?

September 21, 2006

Grady County-  A man wanted for murder in Grady County may have fled the country.

Autopsy results for Hector Martinez, also known as Hector Ramirez, revealed he was stabbed eight times in various vital organs, instead of three times initially reported by the Sheriff's office.

Martinez was found dead in a neighbor's yard late Saturday night. Jesus Emanuel Antiezo is wanted for the murder. Antiezo faced an upcoming court date and had considered leaving the country.

Investigators fear Martinez had threatened to tell authorities of Antiezo's plans prompting the stabbing. The two were roommates.

Anyone with information on Antiezo's whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Grady County Sheriff's Office or GBI.
