Albany -- Police are on the scene of a drive by shooting in the 300 block of South Cleveland Street.

Two people were shot just before 4:30 this afternoon. We don't know their conditions, but they were taken by ambulance to the hospital just a few minutes ago.  

The shootings happened just around the corner from the South West Georgia Achievement Center, the alternative school.

More than a dozen officers and investigators are at the scene. We'll have more information for you as it becomes available.
