Albany-- Today, the Albany chapter of the American Heart Association kicked off preparations for its annual HeartWalk. Team leaders attended a luncheon to get motivated to make this year's fundraiser a big success. They say it's a great way for companies to get involved in the community and improve the health of their workers.
Regions Bank Team Leader Tiffany Crain says, "Just getting out there having a team being a sponsor, it also helps as advertisement but on the other end of it it gets you aware of the health problems that go on in America and exactly what you can do to make your better and the people in your businesses heart better."
The walk be held at Darton College on Saturday November 4th. More teams are needed. You can sign up at www.albanyheartwalk.kintera.org.
