September 15, 2006

Cordele - - A Cordele man deputies say made threatening calls to his ex-girlfriend and then tried to shoot her surrenders to investigators.

23 year old Antonio Butts is being held at the Crisp County Jail.

Africa Cross says her ex-boyfriend shot at her two times as she dropped her children off at a babysitter Wednesday. Both shots missed.

Cross told investigators Butts started following her saying she owed him money from when they lived together.

Deputies found two .380 caliber rounds at the scene.

Butts is charged with aggravated assault and terroristic threats.
