An Americus woman is $500,000 richer tonight.

Priscilla Battle received a check today from the Georgia Lottery. She spent $10 on the Jumbo Jumbo Bucks scratch-off game and won the top prize.

Although she doesn't have any immediate plans for the money, she does know her family will help her spend it.

"I got 4 brothers and 2 sisters and 3 grand kids and a daughter and my mom and dad so it will get divided equally. Everybody will get their share," Battle says.

Battle bought the winning ticket at the Discount Tobacco Convenience store on North Lee street in Americus.

She says she's been playing for 3 or 4 years. This is the first time she's won anything significant.
