Valdosta - Valdosta residents who have digital video, internet, and phone services with Mediacom now have something more to look forward to.

The company has doubled the internet speed for customers who bundle the three services with them, at no additional charge.  "People use the internet for a variety of reasons but anytime, even if you want to download a picture from email. Its really great to have the higher speeds because it goes so much quicker. It really enhances you surfer experience," says Kristen Ayers, the Georgia region's senior sales and marketing manager.

Only cable customers in largers cities usually have access to internet service with the speed Mediacom is offering.

They're goal is to offer these better services to rural areas as well.
