Seven businesses burglarized last night

September 10, 2006

Albany -- Some Albany burglars were hard at work last night. Albany police responded to seven break-ins at small businesses last night.

All of the break-ins were within a few blocks of each other.

The first happened at midnight at Ed Jordon's Music on Westgate Drive. Just a few minutes later police were alerted to a break-in at the Classy Lady on Lake Park Drive.

Within the next hour and a half, the burgulars were at it again, five other businesses were struck in the 21 to 25-hundred block of Dawson Road.

Goodie Two Shoes, The Clay Spot, Family Dentistry, and Delta Life were all hit.

The suspects entered each of these businesses by smashing windows and glass doors.

The owner of Ed Jordan's Music says the thieves got away with cash. This is the second time his shop has been broken into this year.

Police are looking for the burglars.
