Cordele - - You probably know Darton College is located in Albany. You may not know the school has another south Georgia campus.

Darton's satellite campus in Cordele gives people in the area an opportunity to get a 2 year degree. The college has a new director who says it's time to make some improvements.

One of her goals is to give the 175 students in Cordele access to the same classes available at the Albany campus.

"We have couple of classes, criminology...we have 2 students so we hook it up with video conferencing to our criminology class in Albany and they're part of the classroom. The teacher sees them, they see the teacher, they talk to each other," says Caroline Fielding.

Fielding hopes to double the campus's current enrollment.

She's also talking with Darton administrators about getting a new building in downtown Cordele to offer students a more modern working environment.
