Cairo-  It pays to double check your spelling.  That's a lesson the United States Post office learned the hard way on its newest stamp.

Collectors swarmed at the beginning of August to buy the motorcycle stamps and commemorative postmark that debuted in Sturgis, South Dakota.  Many later discovered the postmark was misspelled.

The word motorcycle is missing a "c".  The post office will reissue orders for first day envelopes with a corrected postmark, unless the buyer wants to keep the misspelled version.
