Colquitt - - South Georgia may soon come to life with the magic of Hollywood.

That's the hope of local actor, Ralph Wilcox.

Tomorrow, Wilcox will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony in Colquitt for a new 22,000 square foot sound stage - built to attract movie makers.  

"I told folks when I came down, I'm bringing show business to southwest Georgia and I started rolling and folks started asking questions like who is he running from? But now they're starting to see that it's absolutely becoming a reality," Wilcox says.

Other actors are visiting the area this weekend for Wilcox's Faith-based film festival.

Today, some of them spent time screening documentaries at the Cotton Hall Theatre.

Wilcox says the new sound stage will create jobs in Southwest Georgia.
