Albany - Albany Water Gas & Light is about to slap a half million dollar bill on the city. Back in 1994, WG&L completed a street light program, but somehow forgot to bill the city.  Dr. Willie Adams says, "To our surprise, we found out that water gas and light, "had installed some lights, but had failed to bill the city for those installations."

WG&L leaders plan to send a bill to the city within the next several days, though they are still tabulating the exact cost. It should run anywhere from $550-600,000. Part of the project is still to be completed on several roads that are set to be widened.
