Quitman - Valdosta Police are on the look out for a man who shot and robbed a Brooks County resident.
Police say Nakita Jones shot 26 year old Rashaud Adams before stealing his car and fleeing to Lowndes County. Police chased Jones through Valdosta at speeds exceeding 100 miles per hour before Jones crashed the vehicle into a carport on Giddens Drive.
He then fled on foot. K-9 units were brought in but Jones has yet to be found.
Adams was taken to South Georgia Medical Center in serious condition. He is expected to return home tomorrow.
