Valdosta- Lowndes County Chamber of Commerce and Guardian Bank kicked off the 2nd Annual Business Plan Competition.

Thursday, many entrepreneurs turned in their business plans in hopes of starting their own business next year.

"The business that they will be opening have to open in Lowndes County, attend classes, turn in a business plan and show the potential to hire college and technical college graduated over time," said Guardian Bank VP Parrish Clark.

The judges will choose a winning business by who they think will be the most successful and beneficial to the community.

The winning business will be announced in April. The winner will get ten thousand dollars to start his business.
