Albany-- Darton College's fall semester is underway with another increase in enrollment. School leaders expect an increase of more than three percent after late registration is finished next week.

Darton has seen a consitent rise in enrollment the last several years, and administrators expect more growth as the college offers more online courses.

"We do offer a lot of online classes right now, and that is kind of the big thing right now. So that is helping our enrollment as well and it is helping out with the room shortage that we do have" said Registrar Frances Carr.

Late registration for the fall semester is Monday from 9 a.m to 7 p.m. Students may also drop and add classes at that time. An exact enrollment number will be announced in October.
