Moultrie -- A  man who shot his neighbor is unfit to stand trial.   85-year-old Earl C. Strawder suffers from dementia.

Police say he shot 66-year old Charles Bowles three times with a handgun in June. The two men were neighbors on 5th Avenue and apparently had an ongoing feud over noise.

Police say Strawder pulled the .22 caliber pistol on Bowles and told him he was going to kill him.

Bowles was shot three times and is doing okay. A superior court judge said Strawder is incompetent to stand trial.
