Albany -- An escaped Dougherty County jail inmate was recaptured Thursday.
Yakenski Stevens took off from a work detail at the Civic Center Monday.
Stevens was caught by Sheriff's Deputies at an apartment on Moultrie Road about one Thursday afternoon.
Stevens had only three months left on a one year sentence for theft by receiving and probation violation charges.
