Valdosta - Thanks to a generous donation, more Valdosta college students will study abroad.
First State Bank presented Valdosta State University President Ronald Zaccari and Business School Dean Ralph Allen with a $50,000 check.
The money will go towards scholarship that will allow more students to travel overseas to study international business. "Gifts like this, especially this one, is really going to help students go over there and learn about International business where it goes on. So we are very excited about this! This will be a great help for us," Allen said.
This is one of the largest scholarship endowments received by the business college.
