Albany - For the second year in a row, Albany State will have a new starting quarteback.
The only difference between the two quarterbacks is experience.
Hosea Harris was of course last year's starting quarter.
And the fifth year senior led the Rams to a third straight Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference title.
With Harris gone, sophomore Terrance Ransom is ready to take control of the Albany State offense.
Ransom was the quarterback of the future when he signed with Albany State almost two years ago.
The former Monroe Tornado did not get alot of game reps during his freshman season but he did learn alot from watching Hosea Harris from the sidelines.
Ransom said "Hosea taught me alot. Stay focused, stay poised, footwork, reads and looking at your keys. Everything just really came together for me last year. I did alot of studying."
Terrance Ransom's first collegiate start is just 11 days away when Albany State opens the season August 26th at North Carolina Central.
