Americus -- An Americus man died this morning from injuries after his pickup truck flipped and landed in a ditch.

GSP says the accident happened around 7:20 this morning. The man was driving his Ford F-150 and flipped it at the corner of Arlington Drive and Lexington Circle.

He was transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.

GSP did not release the man's name or age pending notification of his family.
