Albany - Albany State taking a break from the practice field to smile for the camera on Friday afternoon.
The Rams putting on their game jerseys and paints for the annual media-photo day at the Albany Municipal Coliseum.
Normally, media day is held at the end of the second full week of practice.
But it was moved up a week because the Rams start the season a week earlier than most teams.
Head coach Mike White says the squad has a long way to go before they are ready for the season opener.
White said "We still have got alot of work to do. I like the guys effort. The way they are hustling and being really good students. Trying to study and get their plays down."
Albany State's season opener is August 26 at North Carolina Central in Durham.
