Albany -- Two Albany State University students were arrested in May as part of a home invasion robbery where the University's star running back was killed, and two other former players arrested, but the Albany Police Department did not, and still has not informed the public about two arrests.
22-year-old Lindsey Swilley and her 19-year-old sister Brittany Swilley were arrested on May 5th, and charged with conspiracy, and armed robbery. Arrest warrants charge that the Swilley sisters were "willing participants setting the armed robbery up."
Investigators say on April 28th, Albany State Running back Antonio Atkins and two other men broke into a West Broad Avenue home, and tried to rob two men. The homeowner shot Atkins and killed him.
Former ASU football players Michael Pleas and Luther Newton were arrested the following two weeks.
Albany Police refused to give more information about the case, and never released arrest information about the Swilley sisters. Their arrest was found in Clerk of Court records.
