Albany --  An undercover agent with the Albany Dougherty Drug Unit told the Grand Jury today they need everyone's help fighting drugs.

An undercover agent showed the grand jury some confiscated drugs and paraphernalia this morning   He said marijuana and crack remain the top illegal drugs in Southwest Georgia, while methamphetamine continues to be a problem.

But they are increasingly concerned by the presence of club drugs like ecstasy, which are favored by teens and younger people.

"This is something that we really have to address. We have got to get the dealers out of situations where children can observe them doing it," said Dougherty Chief Asst. D. A. Greg Edwards.

The undercover agent told the Grand Jury that people reporting suspicious activity in their community is one of the best ways to fight drugs.
