Valdosta - A new auto part could save you gas mileage and by improving the efficiency of your car's air conditioner.
NAPA and other auto part dealers are now offering a product called Sub-Zero Synthetic A/C Booster.
The product is said to cool your Air up to 18% while saving your gas mileage. "This is a fairly new product. It's a synthetic booster used in your A/C system. It reduces drag on the compressor which inevitably helps with gas mileage. It has special chemicals that make the air cooler. It works pretty efficiently."
A small portion of the product is added to your freon. One bottle of Sub-zero could last as long as five years.
