Thomas County-  Turn out in Thomas County where there were only state runoffs was low.

WALB News Ten cameras found polling places like New Covenant Church empty. Poll workers say at one o'clock they had only 21 voters cast ballots.

"In Thomas County, we did not have any local races and we have very few voters so we would like to encourage people to get out and vote through because it's very important that they do," said Vickie Burnette, Thomas Co. Elections Superintendent.

All polling precincts were open for voting Tuesday.  Voting closed at seven Tuesday night.
