Ocilla -- Someone set fire to four houses in Ocilla over the weekend.

A family inside one of the houses was rescued by firefighters. The other three houses were unoccupied. The fires were at houses on East 5th Street and North Lincoln Street.

Three adults were sleeping inside one of the houses on East 5th Street and were awakened by firefighters.

The calls came in to the fire department between 12:51 am and 2:50 am Sunday.

Two of the houses were destroyed. The state fire marshal's office is investigating and a reward is offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the arsonist.
