Albany - - Some teenagers celebrated the start of the school year by letting loose at a Christian rock concert today.
Strong Tower Promotions sponsored the concert. They invited several bands to showcase their talents as teens socialized, ate, and rocked on to the latest sounds of Christian music.
"There's not a lot around here for teeneagers to do and I want to have a nice safe place for teenagers to go to enjoy music. The local bands have a following in this area, so they enjoy coming to hear the bands play," says Jill Barlow of Strong Tower.
Awkward Romance from Atlanta opened the concert along with music from Cordover's Wake and Anthony Johnson and Riverdale.
Strong Tower Promotions plans to hold more events like this throughout the year.
