Family day at the museum

August 5, 2006

Albany -- The Albany Museum of Art was filled with more than just paintings and sculptures today. It brought families together.

It was family day at the museum.

Those who came toured art exhibits, enjoyed facepainting, and even interacted with some exhibits.

Families say the art museum is a great place to spend the day together.

"Chandler is eight years old we like to come out, and I'm a single parent and we like to come out and do family activities throughout Albany when we can find something to do," said Alice Heldenberg.

Those who came also had the chance to play artist themselves making wire sculptures influenced by the works of featured artist Eric Strauss.
