ASU's Pettway named preseason All-American - WALB.com, Albany News, Weather, Sports

Albany - Albany State defensive end Alton Pettway has been named to the first ever Black Athlete Sports Network's preseason All-American team.

Pettway was the SIAC's defensive player of the year as a junior last season when he had 58 tackles, 17 of were for negative yardage and he had nine quarterback sacks.

Albany State opens the season three weeks August 26th at North Carolina Central.
