Thomasville-  A Thomasville native is the new president of Southwest Georgia Technical College.  Dr. Glenn Deibert, a former Vice President of Instructional Services at the school, says his first task will be to expand programs with the local high schools.

"So one of the project we've undertaken is working with, starting in the 8th grade sort of the middle grade students, sending counselors there working with them trying to get them career orientated, career motivated, thinking about what they want to do in the future," said Dr. Glenn Deibert, School President.

The transition has already started. Deibert's starts his new job September first.
