Albany all-stars reach championship series

 Augusta - The Albany American 9-10 year old all-stars have made the championship series at the Dixie Youth Baseball AAA state tournament in Augusta.

 The Albany American squad fights through the losers bracket and beats North Gwinnett B 22-7 Thursday night.

The American team will now play North Gwinnett A in a best two out of three championship series that starts Friday in Augusta.
