Thomasville- A new business is coming to Thomasville and bringing with it 25 high tech jobs. Six months ago Quality Container went out of business and soon Alltech of Lexington, Kentucky will move in.
The 26 year old company has operations all over the world and chose Thomasville for the expansion of their food additive business.
"Alltech is in the food additive business for animals and it will be research and development of products with I think a lot of good tech jobs, good lab jobs will be coming in," said Don Sims, Thomasville, Thomas County Chamber of Commerce President.
Two different businesses were interested in the Quality Containers building. Sims said all of Thomasville's existing empty commercial property is now full.
