Bainbridge -- A Whigham man is hit head on and killed while delivering morning newspapers in Bainbridge.  Seventy three year old Robert Johnson and his wife were delivering The Post Searchlight Wednesday morning.

The Johnson's pulled off Highway 309, facing southbound in the northbound lane. Jason Thomas was driving northbound when he saw the Johnson's headlights. Thomas swerved to avoid the car, but struck the Johnson's head on. All were taken to Bainbridge Memorial Hospital where Robert Johnson died.
