Albany -- The condition of a woman shot by an APD officer is improving.
Alice Warren has been upgraded from serious to fair at an Albany hospital. She was shot in the chest by an Albany Police officer yesterday responding to a call at an abandoned house.
Neighbors called police when they noticed someone inside an house on South Davis Street.
Corporal Vy Chu says the woman lunged at him and he shot her. Police won't say whether Warren had a weapon.
