Valdosta - The owner of Wild Adventures was honored today by the Valdosta-Lowndes Chamber of Commerce.

Kent Buescher was presented the Big Thinker award at a Chamber's Mid-year Membership Luncheon.

The award is meant to recognize Buescher's Big Idea that has contributed so much to the city and county.  "Wild Adventures is my brainchild. Everyone said you couldn't do it in a little town like Valdosta and we've largely been successful. There's been some challenges but we've largely been successful by bringing people to the park and to Valdosta as well," said Wild Adventures owner Kent Buescher.

Buescher was only the second recipient to receive this award.
