Albany --  An Albany man was killed Sunday morning when his car crashed into some trees at an East Albany house.

Thirty-three-year-old Lethun Taylor wrecked his SUV in the 2500 block of Crescent Drive around 1:00 AM Sunday. Neighbors say Taylor had just left a party when his Ford Explorer rammed a mailbox and two trees. Taylor died at the scene.

Passenger Karen Wells was not seriously hurt. Police say Taylor was driving too fast for conditions.

An Albany teenager is recovering from a gunshot wound to the chest.  Nineteen-year-old Dominic Wooden was shot in the parking lot of the Shackleford Shopping Center on East Ogelthorpe Boulevard around 3:00 AM Sunday. No arrests have been made.

Three masked men with guns robbed the Kentucky Fried Chicken in East Albany early Sunday about 2:30 AM.

The robbers entered the restaurant through a side window, and demanded money from the register.

The teller gave them the cash, and the three masked men ran out the back toward the Thornton Gym.
