Idol finals at Wild Adventures

July 21, 2006

Valdosta - Wild Adventures will host the second annual Idol finals this Saturday.

Out of hundreds of hopefuls, 20 contestants from Thomasville and Tallahassee were chosen earlier this summer to compete in tomorrows finals.  The winner will win the grand prize of a spot in front of American Idol Judges Randy Jackson, Paula Abdul, and Simon Cowell in Memphis later on this year.

They will also receive a 10 song recording session with Summerhill Records in Cairo, Georgia.
"We did this last year and that wasn't part of the deal so we're happy that they'll not only get to go to American Idol but get to record 10 songs so that will be great for them as well," said Tiffany Lewis, the Public Relations Coordinator for the Theme Park.

The finals will be held at Wild Adventure's Palace Theatre from 4-30 to 7-30.  The show will be included with the price of admission for anyone wishing to attend.
