Agents say that police responded to the apartment because of a burglar alarm. Officers found the back door broken open and went inside. That's where they detected a strong odor of marijuana, and saw pot in plain view.More >>

Brooks County - A South Georgia man was killed in a three vehicle crash in Brooks County this afternoon.
48-year-old Frank Ruttinger Junior of Valdosta was headed north Georgia 133 when his white Ford F-150 collided with a tractor trailer rig. Ruttinger's pickup then hit another pick-up truck head on.
Willie H Ring of Quitman, the driver of the second pick up was killed.
Ruttinger was taken to South Georgia Medical Center with serious injuries. The tractor trailer driver wasn't hurt.
