Johnson signs with Grizzlies - WALB.com, Albany News, Weather, Sports

Memphis, Tn. - Albany's Alexander Johnson has signed a two year contract with the Memphis Grizzlies.

The team has not released terms of the contract.

Johnson, who was drafted by Indiana in the second round and then traded to Memphis, has impressed the Grizzlies staff in their summer league in Long Beach where A.J. has had double-doubles in his last two games in scoring and rebounds.

He is averaging 12 points in five summer league games.
