Marshallville- Two Marshallville police officers will not face charges after a man died in their custody earlier this year. A Macon County Grand Jury Monday refused to indict Marshallville Officers Anthony Taylor and Brandon Williams.
Clarence Walker died in their custody after they used pepper spray to subdue him in January. Walker resisted arrest on outstanding charges of obstruction and battery. The Medical Examiner's autopsy revealed Walker had cocaine and alcohol in his system and likely died of a sudden cardiac arrhythmia.
Three hours after his death, arsonists torched the police chief's house.
