Albany - After coming within one win of a state championship last year, Dougherty High coach Carror Wright faces a major rebuilding job this year.
There are many positions to fill after the Trojans lost 32 seniros from last season's squad.
One big position to fill is that of quarterback.
Unfortunately for coach Wright players with talent like last year's quarterback Ronnye Nelson don't come along that often.
But junior Kirby Love did see playing time early last season and sophomore Felton Walls have plenty of potential.
Coach Wright has been getting a look at both quarterbacks during the summer passing league which he says has been very helpful in getting both signal callers ready for the fall.
Carror Wright said "Number one it helps him with his reads before the contact starts. It is very good for the quarterback to see their receivers and get their timing down."
Dougherty opens their season on Saturday September 2nd against Northeast Macon.
