Driver severely injured

July 12, 2006

Lee County -- We've got an update  on a man seriously injured in a wreck Tuesday.  Fifty-seven-year-old Everett Coker remains hospitalized with multiple broken bones and other injuries.

Around noon yesterday, Coker lost control of his pick up on Palmyra Road in Lee County and ran of the road.  He hit a utility pole and crews had to extricate him from the truck because he was pinned to the steering wheel.

GSP Troopers are still investigating the wreck and haven't been able to talk to Coker yet because of his severe injuries.
