Museum offers free admission

June 30, 2006

Albany--Starting tomorrow, you can visit Thronateeska's History Museum for free.  You also won't have to pay a dime to tour the museum's train display and the Model Railroad Exhibit.

The museum will be free to the public Thursday through Satruday from 12 PM to 4 PM. Museum organizers hope this promotion will encourage more people to check out what it has to offer.

"It's just a way to help increase the number of visitors that come here, and again sort of give back to downtown as well," says Tommy Gregors, with the Thronateeska Heritage Museum.

Separate rates will apply for schools, daycares, and other groups of ten or more people.
