Valdosta - A 32-year-old Valdosta man is indicted for federal weapons charges.
The charge stems from a search of Lewis Arnold's home after he was indicted for separate state charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm with an altered serial number.
During the search of his home in January, investigators found an additional weapon they believe he received by mail, leading to the federal charges.
If convicted, Arnold faces 15 years to life in prison and a fine up to 250,000 dollars.
