Columbus -- A Valdosta State University graduate will represent Georgia in the upcoming Miss America Pageant.

21-year-old Amanda Kozak entered the Miss Georgia pageant Saturday night as "Miss Valdosta" and now holds the "Miss Georgia" crown. Her platform was mentoring with the Big Brother, Big Sister organization.

The First runner-up was Albany native Kellie Bradshaw, who entered the pageant as Miss Capital City.
