Albany - - A Dougherty County School Board Member says he wants to stay on board.
Today, District 6 representative Mike Windom held a rally for his supporters.
He's served on the board for 12 years now.
He says he's running for re-election because there's still work to be done.
"There's a lot of unfinished business. The school system still has some challenges that they're facing and I'd like to help be apart of the solution," Windom says.
Primary voting begins July 18th. Absentee voting began last month.
Advanced voting begins July 10 and ends July 14.
