Albany -- A jury orders state representative candidate, Lawrence Roberts, pay more than $100,000 from a bad real estate deal.

After a five day civil trial, the jury ruled in favor of Divine and Dorough law firm and ordered Robert pay $109,00 plus attorney's fees of almost $9,000.

After the closing of the sell of Roberts' former business, the business was foreclosed on by Roberts' lien holder. But he cashed a check for a real estate deal, leading the law firm to sue him.

The jury agreed Roberts was in breech of contract and ordered him to pay the money.
