Albany -- A 71 year old Albany man, charged with murdering his wife, will remain in jail.
A request for bond for Charlie Goolsby was denied Tuesday morning. Goolsby is charged with shooting and killing 48 year old Betsy Goolsby May 27th at their home on Star Court in Northwest Albany.
Betsy Goolsby was the human resources director at Palmyra Medical Centers. Charlie Goolsby had previously worked at that hospital.
