A Lowndes County man is behind bars after deputies uncovered nearly half a million dollars of marijuana.
Albany - Another Albany business is the target of an armed robbery. Just after 11:30 Sunday night, a man walked into the Video Warehouse on East Oglethorpe Boulevard and jumped over the counter. He held a knife to the cashier and told her to open the register drawers.
She gave him about $270-dollars then ran out. A police officer was in the store at the time and chased after the suspect, but lost sight of him as he ran toward Hidden Oaks Apartments. Police say they have a suspect, but have not made an arrest.
